Dover and Folkestone departed...
Posted to "Geoff's Rail Diaries" - an account of a railtour, on 26th June 1993, which took us to some now-departed* outposts of the railway network - the fine old terminus station at Dover Western Dock, and Folkestone Harbour station, at the foot of that remarkable incline. Have a look at "Dover Distributor"
*The Folkestone Harbour branch is still there - just. It no longer sees regular traffic - and a final railtour is due to visit in December this year
